Beatrice Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is now offering “Own the Bone,”
a quality improvement program
aimed to better identify, evaluate and treat patients
who suffer from an osteoporosis
or low bone density-related fragility fracture (a broken bone that results
from a fall from standing height or less).

Dr. Derek Weichel will be working
with Beatrice and area physicins
to provide comprehenisve care for patients who have oseoporosis and especially
those who suffer a fragility fracture.
