March 2009 -- Hospital Board of Directors hires Altus Architectural Studios of Omaha as project architect.
February 24, 2009 -- Hospital Board of Directors approves moving to Phase II oft he Replacement Hospital Project. During this phase, the hospital design will be finalized, a guaranteed maximum price of construction will be determined and financing will be secured. After review of this information, the Board of Directors will vote on whether to begin construction.
December 16, 2008 -- Hospital Board of Directors approves finalizing land purchase agreement for $808,000, and the land is purchased on December 18, 2008.
November 7, 2008 -- A determination of "no hazard to air navigation" for the building of a hospital is issued by the Federal Aviation Administration.
October 2008 -- Hospital Board of Directors hires Align Healthcare as project manager.
October, 20, 2008 -- The Beatrice City Council approves annexation.
October 20, 2008 -- The Beatrice City Council approves re-zoning the land from agricultural to "office."
July 2, 2008 -- Gage County Economic Development holds groundbreaking ceremony and press conference unveiling Northgate Development and announcing the hospital's land purchase agreement and vision of building a new hospital.
June 24, 2008 -- Hospital Board of Directors approves a purchase agreement for the acquisition of approximatley 47 acres west of U.S. Highway 77 and south of Hickory Road north of Beatrice.
