The Diagnostic Imaging Department performs a number of examinations which aid the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Nine registered technologists perform a wide range of services using state-of-the-art equipment.
Services available 24/7 include:

Reports are faxed to your physician on the same day as the exam.
A Certified Radiologist is located at the hospital and is available 24/7 to interpret the imaging exams.
* Beatrice Community Hospital was the first hospital in the State of Nebraska to offer the “softer mammogram.” It consists of a warm, soft pad that is placed on the plate creating a much more comfortable exam.
** The MRI system at BCH has a wider opening than the “open MRI” system. The 1.5 Tesla magnet produces faster and more accurate images than the .02-.07 Tesla magnets offered in the “open MRI” systems.
