The Emergency Department provides 24 hour physician coverage; a highly skilled and trained nursing staff and state-of-the-art equipment.
The physician and nurse coverage provided by the Emergency Department at BCH is dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of our communities, no matter the time of day or day of the year. We are here when you need us, providing care for injuries, both life threatening and minor; across the lifespan, from newborn to elders.
Four experienced and dedicated physicians provide coordinated care for patients and are the core of the emergency department. All have training in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
he dedicated emergency department nursing staff maintain competency in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, Neonatal Resuscitation Program and Trauma nursing.
