Laura Waldo of Beatrice is April Employee of the Month for Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center.

The Employee of the Month award recognizes employees who demonstrate the hospital’s values of excellence, compassion and ethics in their daily work.

Waldo is a registered nurse who also serves as House Supervisor. In her role as House Supervisor, Waldo serves as an on-site administrator during times when administrative staff is not present at the hospital.

Waldo, a DeWitt native, has worked for BCHHC since 2009, and is studying to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. A Nurse Practitioner is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who has completed graduate-level education.
