Cafeteria Hours
The cafeteria is located on the first floor of the hospital.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Beginning Jan. 4, 2010, the cafeteria will have earlier and extended hours for hot foods. Hot food times will be:
Breakfast 7:30 a.m.-10 a.m.
Lunch 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Dinner 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
The dinner menu will include fresh menu items.
Weekend hours are Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Hot meals are served: 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Gift Shop
Balloons now availlable!
Browse the hospital gift shop for just the right baby gift, holiday decorations, cards, candy and more. The gift shop is located on the first floor of the hospital, adjacent to the cafeteria.
Hours are 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The gift shop is closed on weekends and holidays
Cash, personal check or credit card welcome.
ATM
An ATM machine is located near the Human Resources Office, past the cafeteria, on the east end of the first floor.
Wireless Internet
Free wireless Internet access is available to patients and visitors. Connectivity is available throughout the hospital, including patient rooms, the cafeteria and visitor waiting areas.
Pagers
All outpatient departments have pagers available so that family and friends can be easily notified if they choose to leave patient areas to visit the cafeteria or other areas of the hospital.
Tobacco-free campus
The campuses of Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center and its long-term care facility, Parkview Center, are tobacco-free campuses. No tobacco use of any kind is permitted − inside or outside − on hospital-owned property, including parking lots.
In 1994, the hospital implemented a policy that prohibited smoking in all buildings. Now, to further advance the health and safety of its employees, patients/residents and visitors, this policy has been expanded to include all hospital property.
